Garage 59 wrapped up the 2024 racing season with a Pro-Am class victory at the Gulf 12 Hours. It was the #8 McLaren in the hands of Alexander West, Adam Smalley, Louis Prette and Philippe Prette that crossed the line at the Yas Marina F1 track in Abu Dhabi as winners in Pro-Am and fourth place overall.
Unfortunately, the #59 McLaren retired from the class lead with an engine issue after nine hours of racing, else it could have ended up in a Pro-Am battle between the two Garage 59 cars!
It was Louis Prette who showed the intent of the #8 crew on the opening lap of the race when he moved from 10th to third at the first corner, taking the lead soon after. From then on the #8 crew made all the right calls, stayed out of trouble, kept the pedal to the metal and took the win!
